Throughout the two summers I spent playing baseball with the Bruins, the opportunities presented to myself and my teammates were endless. From having access to high level coaching to playing in high pressure situations in front of college scouts, I was able to grow as a player on the field, and as a man in the community. As each school season ended, I looked forward to traveling and playing the game I love with tremendous individuals with whom I am still friends. Even though I decided to end my baseball career after high school, my experience with the Bruins has had influence on my life after baseball that no other organization has. I look forward to seeing this program expand and gain regional and national respect and attention for years to come.

Being a part of the North Columbus Bruins was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Through traveling the country, I have made many friends that I keep in contact with and have been coached by some of the greatest and smartest coaches in the game.

From the very beginning, I began forming friendships and improving my skills of the game. The coaching staff reignited my passion for the game and took my hitting to the next level. Coach Bruce Lunsford helped me increase my self-confidence while always pushing me to do my best in baseball. We always shared team dinners when we stayed in hotels and bonded as a team, while having fun. Joining the Bruins organization for my 14u season is one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. Playing for the Bruins for four years is something I will always treasure, from creating lifelong friendships off the field to competing for national championships. Those four years were the best four of years of baseball I have ever had. Getting 85 wins in four years, coached by the best coaches I have ever had, thank you Coach Cook for all the things you have done for me and the life lessons I have learned from you. I started playing summer travel baseball in fourth grade, and I can honestly say that every single season up until this point I have been miserable before the end of the summer, and I couldn’t wait until the season would end. Whether it was not getting to play, or being on a terrible team, or not liking the coaches or players, I always sort of dreaded summer ball. This year is legitimately the first year I can say I want to go back at it next weekend. Great team, great coaches, great atmosphere.
